Like most new members, I've been lurking for long enough to decide what I want to build ... a version of the optimized winter warrior. My wife & I have traveled to 48 states in a 5th wheel (can't drive to Hawaii and somehow we missed Arkansas). The Alaska trip 2 years ago was the best...17000 miles in 85 days. Now we have 2 grandsons and no guest bedroom at my son's house. The 5th wheel won't fit in the driveway but an OWW will. The 5th wheel is for sale BTW.

Greetings from Hamilton VA in Loudoun County. Best of luck with your build. And a little friendly ribbing seeing as how you're from Charlottesville - Go Hokies! ;)

JohnSW,
Welcome from Pennsylvania. :) We built our Tear and its the best decision we ever made. Worth all the time and money. We love it. Nothing like feeling the pride when people gather (and they will gather) to eww and ahh over it. And you get the satisfaction of saying "I built it".
Enjoy the build. :applause:

Hope to see you on the road.

Thanks for the greetings! I didn't expect so many replies from VA. We are actually located at Lake Monticello. Oh and don't worry about the VT vs UVA stuff, we both graduated from Ohio State. (That ought to get some response)
