Hacksaw, if money is no object, than you can't go wrong with marine plywood. However, then you won't have any insulation, going with a 3/4 to 1" framing, gives you space for insulation and wires. Then using 1/8" plywood gives you the benefit of light weight construction. I went with 2 layers of 1/8", top was walnut and baltic birch, I glued these two woods to a bottom layer of luan. If you want 10' long or 5' high, this system of glue up gives you a solid exterior, you cover up with CPES and spar varnish. Good luck
