Hello From Noblesville In

Postby Tinknocker07 » Mon May 17, 2010 10:24 pm

Hello to all my name is Nathan. I have been reading and looking at the photos. I have been working on a camper drawing trying to keep it small. The camper I build needs to sleep 4 and have a potty in side to make the wife happy. The camper has to be no higher the 6'6" from the ground to ensure that it will fit in my garage. I think I will need to use a drop axle. I angled the tail of it up to give it more ground clearance for uneven terrain. I also have drawn in a removable tung to aid in garage space. Please Look at my drawing and share the Good the Bad and the Ugly.

Hey Nate,

Welcome - I'm building a modified weekender for family of 5, it uses a sliding bunk with will slide into the galley area when we are sleeping, then move forward out of the galley when we are cooking.

Welcome to the T&TTT Group!

Nate
why don't you come down to Springmill State park this weekend and check out the near 40 teardrops that will be camping there?! And bring your ideas and sketches with you? You will see lots of ideas!

By all means Nate, come on down and check out the teardrops. Make a reservation, bring a tent, and enjoy the fun. Plan to stay for the "pitch-in" dinner on Saturday night.

We'd love to meet you and I'm sure you can glean some ideas from looking at the trailers.

Hey Nathan,

Welcome to the forum...

Sleeping for 4. Yep, there's a good design out there...

I can't find the link right now, but in my mind I can picture it. It's rendered in wood, with red cushions. It has a large bed in the rear, and two bunks in the front.

I'll bet someone knows exactly what I am talking about, and has the link at their fingertips.

Mike...
