Hi everyone, I'm Peter from England.

I've just bought a classic Rover Mini and am looking for some form of towable accommodation and the Teardrop looks like a practical solution to my problem.

I normally tow a larger caravan behind a Mercedes so towing behind something so small will be a new experience.

I've got all the necessary skills to build a Teardrop having been a coach builder some years ago, but lack the space at the moment as I live in a flat (that's an apartment to you all in the U.S.A.!)

That enough said from me, I'm going to look from some ideas on the forum now. Thanks for taking time to read my post.

Welcome Pete, from Kent.

I am not sure if you have looked at www.tcgb.freeforums.org , but it is in your back yard.
Greetings from England.

Rian.

Hoping to get it all done in time.

Hi Pete, welcome to the forum from another Mini owner. We have a bog standard 1981 clubby estate. I built a lightweight Benroy to tow behind him. The Teardrop took over and he now hasn`t turned a wheel for a couple of years :(
My Mrs is from your neck of the woods. Where are you at?
