Hello from New York

Postby Volund » Fri Jul 23, 2010 9:31 pm

Hi all,

I'm Justin from NY (no, not the city ), I love camping, my girlfriend and I go most weekends during the spring and summer. I'm getting to the point where tent camping is just not the way I want to go anymore. I have wanted a Skoolie for years, but lately I have gone away from that idea. At this point in my life (being in college), the cost is more than slightly prohibitive.

I've lurked here for quite some time, and I cannot wait to get going on planning at the very least :D.

My major is Information Management, with a focus in networking and network security.

Lots of computers, wires, and troubleshooting

Hello fellow New Yorker and Welcome! :)

My wife and I felt the same way as you did. "Had enough of the tent thing". That is why we decided to convert a cargo trailer for camping. And I am loving the conversion!!! :D

Thanks for the welcome

We love the Catskills, half my girlfriend's family is from up near Hunter, so we usually go up several times a year for snowboarding. I've also spent quite a bit of time up at Frost Valley YMCA.
