My primary interest is motorcycles, and have a couple project bikes currently under construction, including one I hope to race in vintage racing events someday. Divorce, unemployment, and college expenses have put the brakes on much discretionary income these days. I am almost 3/4 through a teaching degree however, which once completed (assuming prompt employment, of course) should give me much needed time to pursue the motorcycles and do more camping. Ex-wife was not a camper, so I tended to take my kids by myself, and current girlfriend (also a teacher) is not a camper, either. I've showed her some TD pics, and we both think it might be the way to get her interested. Additionally, a teardrop seems a natural for sleeping while at motorcycle races instead of a hotel, hauling motorcycles to & from in the bed of my F-250 which would obviously be an excellent TV. Note: Girlfriend IS very interested in motorcycle racing.
I've been lurking at TD sites on & off for a few yrs, and decided to join up, although probably won't contribute for quite some time for above mentioned reasons. I am, however, a reasonable carpenter, I'm mechanically inclined, and I can weld/have a welder.
