Howdy all,
New to the forum but I have dreamed of a teardrop(ish) trailer for awhile now. I love the idea of building one but my wife HATES the idea of camping. I have gotten her to the point of agreeing if there is a toilet in the camper. I guess my question is can the “dinetteâ€

Welcome, Staypuff68!

I didn't mean to ignore you, but I have no idea what the tow capacity is of a Highlander, nor what the weight is on the Dinette.

However, a little Google search shows the tow capacity of a 2004 Highlander at 3,000 lbs.

http://www.edmunds.com/used/2004/toyota ... specs.html

That should be plenty of capacity to pull a Dinette. There are very few trailers on this forum at or over 3,000 lbs.
God Bless

Cliff
