Hello all I am Jim from North Carolina. I am getting ready for my first TD build. have been reading the forum for a lone time and it sure does help.
I hope to get started in the next week r so.
I will be building a Grumman 2 with some minor changes in it.

Build what you want, enjoy your build, and make sure you take/post some pics of it on the way. Thanks for the welcome. My best friend is going to help me with this he is a heck of a woodworker. Me I can get buy but its nice to have the help. I believe he is as exited as I am about this.

Having my trailer custom built its cheaper here.

will post more as we get going

after a few changers to the TD we are going to started this weekend .
going to get the plywood and lumber today if all gos well and the wife does not have other plans for my day

As you know by now; there is lots of great info in here and lots of good people to answer your questions and offer great advice if you want or need it. How is your build coming? Looking for lots of pictures.
