Happy New Year everyone!

I am looking into an alternative to tent camping due to 5 various surgeries and separately a broken back from a motorcycle accident in the last five years.

I am very well equipped for outdoor camping but will have trouble with on the ground setup and erecting a tent alone.

Thank you all for letting me lurk and now becoming a member.

Hi MOPAR,

I guess, I'm bigger, or at least taller than you and I also fit a teardrop. Look in my album. I built myself a little T@B, designed by Mike and Angib. Unfortunaly I live in The Netherlands, Europe, so visiting me is almost mission impossible.

Hi Mopar & Happy New Year to you as well. You will find tons of info on this forum to help you come up with a design for your new trailer. Alot of folks here started out with the same idea in mind...the next step up from tenting...Sounds like you're already equipped with everything you'll need. Now you just need to get to building so you have something to sleep in! There are alot of folks on here from Mass. and the rest of the New England area as well. You should try to get out to a gathering in the Spring. You don't need to have a teardrop to go to a gathering & I'm sure someone will give you a hand putting up your tent if you need one. You will get the chance to see lots of great trailers of all shapes and sizes. When you get a chance, go check out the tearjerkers.net forum. You will find info about alot of regional gatherings there. Best of luck with your build. I hope to meet up with you around the fire at one of the New England gatherings.
All The Best,
