Hi, I'm a 68 year old retired AC service tech and I'm in the planning stages of building a tear drop. I owned one in 1969 / 70 , and enjoyed it very much. We used it for outings in to the Mojave desert on motorcycle riding expeditions.

I'm still collecting pics and information, before starting construction. A neighbor is building two and has already given me some valuable pointers.
I'm looking for a derelict tent trailer as a starting point. Wish me luck!!

Glad to have you. Come on down to Usery Park in Mesa on March 3-6th and you will see a lot of TD trailers. There are about 50 people registered so far.
