congrats on your new purchase....as an ex-Coloradoan...lots of great places to camp. Check the Last Gasp campout held in the fall down near Canon City. Lots of fun people to camp with! Doug

Thanks for the ideas. I am planning on taking many mini vacations. There are so many great campgrounds within a couple hours from my house.

Summertime is the busiest time for my job so I can't take off too many days in a row, but I will be able to take days here and there.

I work Sunday through thursday so taking some Thursdays off should give me plenty of opportunities for mid-week start on weekend camping.
