Thx for the welcome, Matt !
..."welcome mat"...?
lol
One of the things I like about this board is that, unlike most RVers, you folks don't seem to have reservations about cutting into your rigs to make them into what you want.
If you poke around some of the other boards, putting tiles in the bathroom is a reno...I tend to think of a reno more as installing a bathroom into what use to be a closet, or re-framing a wall to incorporate a window air conditioner rather than pay three times as much for an "RV" product you can buy off the shelf.
Not ripping on anyone's tastes or comfort levels - different strokes and all that.
Signing on here was actually the first half of a coincidence...
Yesterday I was poking around CL (when I should have been working ;^) and I found a 12' 1975 Lougheed tent trailer for $50. It's now sitting in my driveway.
Today, in the first cold light of dawn, I'll be checking out the frame to see what sort of shape it's in and its suitability as a build platform...but first I'll flip the axle (SOA) to get a little more clearance on logging roads...
