Hey there,
I have been lurking around here for a while but have never seen a TD up close. So I'm planning a family camping trip to ITG 4. I don't doubt how fun teardroppers are but having a collection of children wonder if I would be better off camping up the road at the state recreation area where there will be a lake and some room to explore. Then we could drive down for some activities and fellowship (gawking at peoples teardrops). Is anybody going to this? Have you been? What should I expect? Is there a schedule anywhere?

Hi Tim,

Here's the link for the ITG4 information: http://itg.teardrops.net/. I attended ITG3 in 2009 to just look around. It gave me a lot of ideas for the build I had in progress at that time. I can assure you that this will be well worth the drive from Omaha if you are interested in teardrops. If you are not planning on camping there, Windmill SRA near Gibbon would be a nice park to stay at.

Welcome from another in omaha !!
When you get ready to build the frame for your TD, let me know and I
will do the welding for you, At a reasonable price. Of course you must supply the beer when I finish !!
Recently retired Steel worker with all of the nessary tools and skills.
Was thinking of loading it all in the truck to take to Minden, but haven't
made a decision YET !!
I will bring a scrap book with some of the stuff I have built for those
interested to look at and ask questions about.
The last site I worked at is on national T.V. today.
