Hello from the SC coast

I do a lot of wood working, have done construction, renovation, built furniture, built and refurbished stringed instruments. I like inventing stuff, latest invention is a self contained battery powered Mixer Amp for our Ukulele band when we play on street corners or at festivals/shows where there is limited access to 110Volt.

I used to be a car, heavy equipment, boat and motorcycle mechanic. I started looking at small travel trailers but they were not what I wanted. I wanted a place to sleep, store clothes, withan outside cooking galley. When I camp I mostly stay outside and didn't want to have a modern "Camper" to live in.

I stumbled upon some teardrop plans http://teardrops.net/plans01.html

They were more to what I was looking for. Now I am possessed and am thinking of making a Kuffle Creek Comet (I am over 6'2").
