Hello from SW Michigan

Stumbled upon this forum and have been lurking for a while but I'm in the beginning phases of my first project so I thought I would make it official.

I'm not really doing a teardrop but rather rebuilding a 1981 Starcraft Starlite 1505 popup as a hardside travel trailer which will serve as a deer hunting base camp and occasional boondocking camper.

Looking forward to participating here and I'm sure I will learn a lot in the process. :D

Welcome aboard. Lots of Michigan campers got together this year with another gathering planned for the fall. Good luck on your build. I started my cargo conversion to use as lodging around the Great Lakes while on dive trips.

Keep us posted on your build... I think any question can be answered on this forum.

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

I would strongly suggest you also join Tearjerkers (see link above) and come see some other teardrops at some of the gatherings.
Welcome from some one just south of the border.
