Hello from North Texas

Hello mine name is Clint. I am up from around the Texoma area. Love family,fishing, outdoors and woodworking so though about making a TTT. Looked at the TD but could not really find a design big enough for 4. I have been reading on this site now for about a month and have started drawing my own from other people's ideas. I have a wonderful wife and 6 and a 2 year old that love it outside also. Hopfully I will be looking for some help in the future on how to build things. When I do start I will take lots of pics.

Welcome! There are a bunch of teardroppers and TTT builder/owners in the Texas/Oklahoma/Arkansas area.

If you haven't yet, swing by the South Central section to see area gatherings. You can get a lot of different ideas. The next one is the second week in September at Loyd Park (Joe Pool Lake) in the DFW area.

The big gathering - Louisianna Cypress Gathering (LCG VI) - is at the end of October. The park is southeast of Shreveport. There will be at least 40-50 TDs and TTTs there. My wife and I visited - day trip - LCG twice and have tent-camped there once. This year will be the first time with our teardrop. Everyone made us feel welcome. There are still campsites available. Come if you can.

Thanks, I looked at the south page. May try and make the next year Beavers Bend trip. Looks fun and love that place. We just came back from Arkansas on the Caddo river. I will try and post some cad drawings of what I have in mind.
