New in D/FW

Hello everyone,
I grew up camping and luckily my wife and eight year old daughter love it as well. Not wanting to buy a house on wheels and learning that pop-up camping can be a beast in the Texas summers, we have decided a teardrop would be perfect. We're going to build one so it will be exactly what we need. It will need to have a bunk for the daughter but also a roof rack to support a safari style tent when she brings a friend along. With the amount of info and builders on this site I doubt this will be a problem. This site is amazing and we're glad to be here.

Welcome to the group Cliff. You have definitely come to the right place. Please be sure and start a build journal and share lots of pictures. We all love them. They inspire us, teach us and give us ideas. Check everyone else's build journals and all the photos in the Hall of Fame. It's very educational.

Good luck on your build!!

Welcome Cliff from another Cliff to the madness if teardropping! You'll find anything and everything on this site and a great bunch of people. There is also a great bunch of teardroppers in your area that are on the forum. Enjoy,

Welcome campnut!

There are many of us in the DFW area. If you haven't already, please check out the South Central section for outings. The big one - LCG VI - is coming up in two weekends. Please feel welcome to come out and visit. If you bring a tent (or camper), we'll find a place for y'all to join us.

Take care,
Tom

Welcome Cliff, there will be a few TDs at Loyd Park on Joe Pool Lake this weekend (10-21&22). We will be in sites 66 thru 71. Come on out for a visit. Everyone in the whole park decorates their campsites for Halloween. Saturday is when the park looks the best.
