Hello From Nebraska

Postby Buckshot » Tue Aug 30, 2011 11:01 pm

I have been debating on building myself a teardrop. I have the ability and tis time so here I am to safe some headaches and see what works the best and will suit my specific needs.

My Dad had an original teardrop camper, its been 45 years ago now. I can remember sleeping in that, going with Dad on his hunting/fishing trips and the memories in that little camper. He finally retired it when I was about 11 I believe and bought a bigger full size. I don't know what ever happened to that little green teardrop but the memories still survive.

So let's get to building!!!

Campers

Hey Buckshot,

Welcome to the T&TTT group!

My old man never had a teardrop (he wasn't one for camping). But - I had my kids involved in building ours, and I hope some day they will look back on it with fond childhood memories of when we built and went camping in our camper!

Keep us posted regarding your progress!

8) Hello to both of you new forum members from Nebraska.
Buckshot--
It would be awesome if you could track down where the lil green TD of your Pop's ended up!!

Welcome Buckshot !

Hope we can get together sometime! Whereabouts in Nebraska are you?

I completed mine just in time for ITG2009 and we have been having fun with it ever since!

Good Luck with your build.
