Welcome, Ol Bro to the best teardrop info board on the net. If you swing on down the I-15 to Wildomar, I can show you a couple of teardrops built on a Harbor Freight trailer, and perhaps answer some 'getting started' questions you might have. Just give me a hollar and we'll chat, the coffee is always on.
8) ;) Roly ~~

I have no idea how many hours sleep I have lost because of this obsession with teardrops. Every night my husband says, "you ready to go up to bed?" My answer (as I'm gazing at my laptop screen engrossed in one build thread or the other), "just in a minute." For several months he waited for me to get finished and come up. Now he just heads up the stairs, muttering under his breath "sure, sure.....see you in a couple of hours."

You have no idea what you're in for

"I" believe that THIS is the first time I've heard it described as an "obsession"...mostly ( and "I" believe MORE correctly) it is an "addiction".

Before yer done you'll have changed the design at least a dozen times.

And.. even once yer done( or you think you are ) you'll "modify it..

BEWARE : We are all "enablers" here on these forums !!

Yep, teardrops are actually just the "gateway drug" to cast iron cooking, vintage Coleman collecting and possibly even string lights. Enjoy, it's healthy! Except for the wallet on occasion.
