Greetings from Cap't Jonny,
I finally figured out how to post so here goes.
I live in Silly Cone valley California and have been involved in the construction business most of my life. I am currently making my living Building custom cabinets and substitute teaching at the local occupational training center.
I have had a number of cars and sailboats in the past which I customized and restored . A few years ago I bought a 14 ft. Siesta trailer and installed a 30' x 30' hatch in the ceiling so I could stand up at the galley (all 6'5" of me). Today I agreed to go look at a rig and will probably buy it. It looks from the pictures to be a Grass hopper or a clone of this design. It came out here from back east. Some college kids bought it 3 months ago to go on a surf safari. They don't want to drive it back so are selling it here. The only problem so far is they don't have the pink slip for it. They have the registration and the person on the registration is giving me a bill of sale.
The sound on the phone like they are just normal kids, nothing fishy that I can tell.
If any one is out there that has gone through this I would appreciate knowing if there are any impossible hurdles I might have to jump to get it registered.
I will send pics and details when I get it back here tomorrow.
Wish me luck .
Jonny
