New guy from SETX

Postby SLUG36 » Wed Mar 28, 2012 6:59 am

Hello all. New guy here from South East Texas.

A little about me. I am a Structural Designer in the Petro Chemical Industry, A Father of 2 Boys ages 9 & 11, and a Extreme do it yourselfer.

Growing up, My Father brought us on many Camping trips in a old Tent Trailer from the 60's. and then we graduated to a Pop up type camper.

Love the look of the Teardrops, I plan on building a 2+2 on a Jayco Pop-up frame.

Welcome! And why in the world did you choose the handle "slug"? You don't sound like much of a slug to me!! :)

I also started on an old pop up frame. You will find a lot of help and support for your build here, and the friendliest folks anywhere on the web. We look forward to your build journal. Make sure and take a lot of pictures. We love them, and we all learn from them.

"SLUG" comes from a Nick name that was given to a lowered Pro-street style '83 chevy short wheel base pickup I owned for around 15 years.Image

I forgot to add, I am a "Garage Gunsmith"....
