Alaskan

Postby aksnowryder » Sat May 05, 2012 12:48 pm

Hi my name is Doug Briney and I'm from Anchorage, Alaska. I am beginning a build on a small Pico-Light to pull behind my motorcycle. I jokingly have told folks it is going to be a vey small coffin on wheels. I'm building it 36" wide instead of the standard 48" for weight and wind drag. (Also because my wife has no interest in going camping from the motorcycle so it will just be me.) I will be posting some pics and build progress in the new build section. I have to say, I am terrrible about taking pictures as I get going building and never think about pics until I read other peoples builds. So with all that being said... howdy folks!

I too, built a toy teardrop for my Goldwing. We used it as a cargo toter for picnics and such.
2 things I learned is to build it no wider than the handlebars and give it a long tongue to dampen the side push from the pot holes. Hope you have as much fun with your toy trailers as we have had and welcome.
