WV outdoorsman here

Postby Yakangler » Mon Aug 27, 2012 8:01 pm

Hello! Glad to have stumbled onto the site. Looks like a top shelf collection of information, members, and craftsmanship. I'm here mostly lurking and reading as much as possible before my build. I'm on a limited budget (say 1-1.5G) and limited space to work for now. But once I saw these critters I knew I had to have one! Will be pulling into national forest for hunting and fishing trips and general camping use with my daughter (11 yrs old). Thanks to those responsible for upkeep and the quality advice.

So far interested in a 4*8 HF trailer in the interest of cost effectiveness and weight...still contemplating design options. May go for more "squared off" design instead of the teardrop plan. Dunno. Look forward to more stories, pics, etc

Welcome to the forums,

Check out what is generally called a Weekender, simple, more squared off.

Web Page for the Weekender

Or for a more adventurous builder the Rockhopper.
