Welcome to the Forum!! I'm in Folsom, and would be happy to assist in any way I can. Depending on your specific electrical needs and budget, there are many options, some of which have been discussed already.

Also, a NorCal thread would be great! We have the great pleasure of camping year round without getting too crazy and requiring 4-wheel drive. We should arrange a casual gathering sometime this fall when it's not so hot. There are plenty of nice (but pretty pricey) campgrounds right around here. Anyone else interested or have any ideas?
Those people that constantly need a pat on the back to feel proud of thier accomplishments typically don't go very far...

Thanks Jeff. I tried to send you a private message but not sure it went through. After this Thursday (when the hitch gets installed on my new subaru, I will try to see if I can figure out what help I need. We usually go camping at Silver lake but now that we are both retired, I am thinking of maybe trying to go to some beach campgrounds this winter.

Not sure how to start a NorCal thread but if you do, be sure to let me know

I replied your email address directly. I hope it helped as there are many variables.

Let me know if I can be of any help. I am still trailer-less. We tent camped over Labor Day weekend at Fallen Leaf Lake by Tahoe. We ended up driving past Silver Lake on our way home as the traffic was backed up for miles in SLT. i could not bring myself to sit in hours of 2 mph traffic. I drove an extra 50 miles at an average of 45-50MPH. i figured I saved time driving 50 miles through some of the most scenic country in the world. We went over Carson Pass at 8,574 feet and the next two or three pass after that.

In that section there is a small super thread called Coleman Keepers Campfire. You dont have to be a Coleman collector to join in. Anything goes on that thread. We tell jokes, make fun of each other, Brag, lie about our cool stuff, and other wise have fun. Anyone is welcome.

Warning! If you hang out with the Coleman Keepers You are sure to Contract Colemanosis a form of hoarding disease. And you may ( if you Qualify) end up in the 200A gang. Just be careful. 8)
