Hello from western Oregon!

Hi -

The name is Bob and I live in Springfield, Oregon. I'm building my first teardrop as a wedding present for my daughter and her fiance'.

At her request, I'm using as many recycled/scavenged/used materials as possible. The basic plan I'm using is the 10' Comet by Kevin Hauser at Kuffel Creek Press, although I'll have to modify it quite a bit.The base of my TD is a re-purposed toy hauler trailer, and I've bought many lights, outlets, windows, and other things from folks that are parting out campers and trailers, so I'll be scouring the various forums looking for used parts. Can't wait to look around!

If anyone is looking for modern style windows, a local recycling company received a donation from a local RV manufacturer of hundreds of new black-framed windows in all shapes and sizes. PM me for more info.

You building a trailer for the wedding is an act of pure love.

Those windows sound interesting. I have some old windows that I have been saving that, well now, i think I might not be using.

I'm up near Salem.

I do hope you get to use the trailer a few times.
