I wish I could say that!
I actually found the little VIN sticker on the side of the camper. It say's it's, and IF it's the original sticker, that it is a 14 footer. Well, the lady had advertised it as a 18 footer, so was just going by her. Should of checked. So I just came in from tape measuring it: Camper itself is like 12 feet, 3 inches. From the back to the ball hitch, is about 15 feet, maybe a couple inches under.
I'll try and get some pics posted, once I get that figured out. It says on the outside it is a "Sportsman" model, has a little bathroom and toilet in it. I went through it today, figured a lot of stuff out, like there is still some water in the potable tank (15 gallon), there is no holding tank for the sink and the grey water, just goes to the outside with a vent hole and and screw on cap. I take it that a person hooks up a hose to it and runs it to a jug or something, sitting on the outside.
The toilet has me confused. It has a little holding tank on it for fresh water, a little hand pump for squirting water in the bowl, a lever on the left hand side toward bottom that I THINK might be for flushing the black water out. I crawled under the camper today, and there is no black holding tank, just a what looks like a 3 - 4 inch pipe coming down, no handle to pull on the outside. That's why I'm thinking the lever on the toilet probably flushes it out. But, the question I have for someone with knowledge, is how do you open that "flapper" to let stuff fall out of the toilet bowl? I don't see any other buttons, levers, etc. So, maybe that lever is suppose to be opening the flapper, instead of me thinking it is for flushing the black water down the outside pipe? If that is the case, then something must of become disconnected, because I pushed that flapper down with a rod, has quite the spring tension on it, holding it tight.
Any ideas?
So, to recap, the toilet is bolted down to the floor, and has a fresh holding water tank and I believe a black holding tank, all incorporated into the toilet. It is hooked up to a black flush pipe that goes to the outside.
Anyone know what type, make and model this toilet is? I should probably re-post this to different topic.
Oh, just saw my signature is wrong, will have to change it. It year should read: 1974 Serro Scotty Sportman
