Hey everyone, Noob from Texas here

Postby stanimal » Tue Jan 22, 2013 9:56 pm

Just stumbled onto the site last night. I saw an article on Pinterest about building a teardrop, and got intrigued to say the least. My wife and I had been thinking of buying an R-pod type RV, but after talking about it, we're pretty convinced that making a teardrop could really work for us.

I've got so many questions, and am looking forward to picking your brains and learning from the collective knowledge base here.

Hi Kinda a newbie myself.I think you will be very pleased with your decision to go teardrop. I have progressed to the stage of having my trailer complete. I ordered the Northern Tool heavy duty 5 x 8 trailer, now have it assembled and will start the floor soon. I am very pleased with the trailer. It comes in two boxes, bolts together and is fairly easy to assemble. On sale when I bought it two ago weeks for $449.00 with free shipping. Hope you enjoy the build process and the end result. lee and norma

Hi Stanimal, welcome aboard. Aw, come on, you gotta build a teardrop trailer, remember, you will have a one of a kind that many folks will stand in line to check out. We have plans right here on the board, so check them out. Ask any questions you like, and I suggest that you try to get in touch with other teardroppers that live near you. A visual is worth a thousand words. Good luck on your build.
