Excited NOOB here from Buffalo, NY

Postby wingloader » Tue Feb 26, 2013 11:02 pm

My name is Joe. I am a 45 year old hang glider pilot and I live just outside of Buffalo, NY. I travel a bit to go flying and this is going to be freakin awesome for traveling.

I am very excited about this endeavor and I my mind is racing with ideas.0

There is an instructable by Rob O on Instructables.com. It was a small TD and I am HOOKED!

I went out today and bought my 4 x 8 trailer from Harbor Freight and I am starting to scrounge for parts. This is going to be the most awesome project I have ever made.

YEEEEEHAAAAAA!!!!!!

Hey Joe from Buffalo, Hehehe rhymes

Welcome to the forums.
I never see Instructables.com That pretty cool. Rob O’s TD looks nice as well.

I Fly RC Aircraft and just getting into larger gliders. I plan on using my bigger TD ( when built ) for glider
events as well as for camping. I want to be able to set up, work on a computer or watch a video while waiting
for my turn to fly or for weather to improve.

Have Fun making Rob O’s design your own and keep us posted.

Hey Joe welcome to the forum! Building a teardrop trailer is a very fun and exciting experience! Your going to love it! Just do a good bit a research before you start so you don't have to "undo" any mistakes as construction adhesive doesn't seperate easily... or at all! So get a good plan in place and have fun! Oh, and add lots of pics! We love pics! :D
