Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Lady named Sandy bought my teardrop. She drove over 1500 miles the last couple of days to Florida. We took the opportunity to take a test drive and a small tour around St Augustine. It was a really hot and humid day for me, I bet my new friend from Minnesota was miserable :sweaty:

but, I couldn't have found a nicer person to adopt my woody.

She is on her way home now, but plans to stop by the forum to see us when she gets there.

Just got a call from Sandy in a Wal-mart parking lot somewhere in Alabama :lol:

"Where are all the campgrounds when you need one" she said. This was a camper friendly Wal-mart parking lot, many other RV's there and came with the usual questions about the tear drop. The RV fan (a Fantastic Fan) made for a good nights sleep and didn't use much battery power. Best of all after driving through a lot of rain, it was dry and cozy inside the camper. :rainy:

So, Sandy was off to Wal-mart for :coffee:

and hit the road.

Congratulations on your sale, Steve. Judging from your picture, hugging the teardrop, (nice shot!) I imagine it was bittersweet. You'll miss your beautiful tear but it was time for it to go to a new home and it has a nice new owner.

What an emotional sequence of shots. It's like a good movie, "We laughed, we cried ... " :lol:

You know what though, right now someone is on the road in pure bliss from something your skilled hands created. That's awesome. I've always said to those first-timers that have to travel a long distance to pick up their teardrop or other RV, that the trip home will be one they will never forget and enjoy very much. Well done Steve!

Got my phone call a little while ago. I am pretty sure Sandy is doing the phone calls more for my benefit than hers to help with my separation anxiety. :cry:

She was close to her first campground stop in Kentucky. One thing men would never do is call ahead and ask "Is it was a pull through sight or is someone there going to back the trailer in for me". The lady at the campground didn't hesitate to tell her it was a pull through... :thumbsup:

We also talked about where to plug in the electrical on the trailer... guess I forgot that part :oops:

It won't be long now, my baby will be at her new home..... and time for the tear drop dance! :dancing

We will be there in the "Little Gypsy" but....a new trailer is on the mental drawing board. But that's for another thread.

An update from Sandy on the road home. Her new teardrop has a name. That's what happens when you spend too much time alone :lol:

Hint, does anyone know what the name of this flower is?
