Hi all. Forgive me for stumbling. I'm new to all this.
Sandy and I are building our first TD and I've been looking at all your posts for about three months. Finally joined. I'll send pictures as soon as I learn how.

Welcome to the group, and you may want to consider joining a second group, tearjerkers. The Buckeye chapter is quite active and a great way to meet others. We're still waiting on ours, but hopefully next year we will be much more actively involved in camping.

Put a door handle on it and lets go camping this weekend. Jan and I are going to West Branch this weekend. Only the second trip out this year

Thanks all for the great welcome. I would have answered sooner but work got in the way. I'm not complaining though. Anyway, I think we're going to like it here. Later I'll post what all we've done to our TD. Our first by the way.

Hey Gang. Thought I'd tell you a bit about our TD.
We started our build July 17, 2010. Started with a used 5x8 trailer that once was a pop up. The gears are still in place under it.
After looking at your great site we knew we wanted a 5x8 and we also wanted a woody.
Rich noticed it has no door handles. They're coming, and after a few more little things, (like fenders), we'll stop dreamin and start camping.

Hey Tim J come on over. We booked site 10, there were a lot around that area last week. We are going to just sit and relax. No big plans. Work has us both wiped out.
Going to bring the side walls and some heat, for the easy-up, ha.
I'll even show you my waffle dogger.

Tim and Sandy, just use some duck tape for the doors and fenders and come on over!

Have you joined the TearJerkers. Its on the bottom line on the above heading. Thats the camping side of this forum. We camp mostly with the Ohio Buckeye Chapter so Im sure well be camping together in the coming season.

I love tha color of your Teardrop. Sandy and I did a Dune Buggy that color back in '04. I thought we should do the Teardrop like that but she said it was time for a "Cool Change" (hummm? sounds like another song)
