Seems I might be a bit slow this morning - I didn't see a front hatch on that last photo

8) :shhh: It's a secret Ira.

You can make a bed that folds out so you have room to sleep more than one. Do you need the para to be inside when you sleep? If you can split the inside space up so the prop slides on it's back and the rest stays in tact you can build a bed that folds from the front or side walls and sleeps two. Keep the back square so you keep all the height.

I missed your question completely - seems the windoze on the laptop had cut it off. That picture was pulled off the website for an Italian company that makes powered paragliders - flyproducts.com - I am not sure where the military guys are from but you are right - they do look like South American lads - and happy enough - maybe they just confiscated that paraglider for themselves - hehe.

My wife is Russian and there's a real gem of a van they use in Russia that costs about 200 bucks from any used car lot - it's called an Uaz (pronounced ooo-ah-z) - it would make for a great camper tow vehicle and would get no end of laughs - but the cost to ship one over here would be too high - not to mention that I could never get the parts quick to fix it....

will look for a pic....

Cheers - and sorry for the mixup !

They're wearing those red berets, like all of the nuts in Venezuela who back Chavez. My wife is from there, so I was curious.

I have been to Venezuela once - in 1986 - it was the first time I had been to what I could call a "foreign" country - i.e. something not like North America. It was a good trip and I got to see Angel Falls, Caracas, Merida, etc. We stayed in Doral Beach in Puerto La Cruz. Seems to me the country was only open to tourists for a brief time in 1986 but I could be wrong.

I see the references to Chavez from time to time - seems he's another fist-waving character like Castro, and as you say, nutty enough.

Here's a pic of an Oaz - the "ultimate tow vehicle" - haha. I don't know what I like about these things so much - maybe just the fact they are so butt ugly and so very "rough looking". The insides of them are not what you would call "luxury appointed" either....
