Guilty, Guilty, Guilty, when when the pain stop??? Hey its a miracle I'm over it!!!!

I am going to do some research on campgrounds (or other places of interest) and try to figure a route to take from here to Mt. Rushmore.

Then I will plan a weeks vacation to there. I figure If I tie in an "educational trip" to include our 12 year old daughter, that will fly.

It is amazing what you can get away with when you are "doing it for the kid"

Now the only bad part is THEY will probably get the comfy bed and I will wind up in the pup tent out side.... with the dogs...

 might want to think this through a little more.

Hears an idea: How would YOU surprise your wife with something like this?

The best answer "based on my sick opinion alone" will win... um... ah... lets see here....

A Brand new Crisp $20 Bill, and (if I ever meet you in person at a campsite) a freshly grilled hot dog, on a stick, with cheese....

WOW its magic!!!!

Somebody stuck a picture of my new teardrop into my post, located at the top of this thread.

How did they do that? I don't even have it home yet, nor did I give out my password, Hmm, the paranoia is setting in. If they can sneak into my post how hard will it be for them to sneak into my teardrop?

Just kidding, thanks to the "administrator?" who did that for me....
Now everyone can have a look see.

Got her home

Postby greg755 » Sat Dec 27, 2008 6:29 pm

Well I got her home today. She trailed good. The Focus averaged 32.8 miles per gallon on the way down and 28.1 gallons on the way back, because I took it out of overdrive, not to bad.

Went through a lot of rain and no leaks in the galley or from the roof, How ever I went through a REALLY BIG Puddle at about 50 mph and a little water did come up through the bottom of the doors...

Haven't had it 10 minutes and I already have 1001 things I want to do to it.
Over all it is in pretty good shape. There are some things that you can tell this guy really took his time with, like applying all those wood slats, the tool box and the cabinets on the inside.

Other things like the polyurethane is really sloppy with drips and runs...

First order of Business is to order a stove and a fridge and build a galley around them...

Will keep you updated....

thanks
Greg

Just figured out how to put up the avatar and add photos to my "album"

You can look in the album for some more shots.
Now I just have to figure out how to get the photos into the post/thread....

Thanks everyone.

There is a lot of good advice on this forum.

Because of you I found web sites to order a Camp Chef Oven and a 63qt 12vlt/120 Fridge/cooler at very good prices.

Ordered them today, She is on her way to an upgrade!!!!!

Will keep you posted on the updates as they come along (will post pictures in my album when they are installed)

Thanks
Greg
