BigAl, your costs are pretty typical for a t/d... if you buy everything new, including microwave, battery, torsion axle, a/c, light fixtures, windows, etc.

I figure mine came in at around $2K plus... not real cheap, but I get a lot of use out of it... and it is always ready to go.. It takes me longer to pack clothes and stuff than it takes to get the t/d ready.

I don't have time to scrounge, nor the knowledge of where to look, used what I had and bought the rest.
