Welcome Welcome to the forum. sounds like you are ready to build I suggest you read the threads on build tips take a day and search and get familiar with the builds there are lots of pictures of builds that will give you all sorts of information. Construction tips will help too there is one thread on on connecting the sides to the bottom. quite interesting, so lots of info. I have to wait until March to purchase the rest of my materials and I am working hard at planning and gathering little things making stuff and reading the forum. Everyone is very kind sharing their knowledge with the newbies. Get out the camera and share :pictures:

Welcome, I'm a newbie too. There's a lot of good info on this site. The build treads are great! Sounds like you have other builders in your area. That's great! My build is the exact opposite of yours. I'm trying to go as small and light as possible. I asked my husband for a wiring diagram for Valentines day. I have definite caught the bug! Tuesday, 4 of the 5 of us where playing with sketch-up trying to make a trailer. my advise on that is to watch the Grumman 2 videos til your totally overwhelmed. stop and just load sketch-up and play til you start to get it. A cold and a blizzard kept me from getting my trailer this week, will try next week. Good luck with your Build. Next for me is figuring out the photo postings so I'm ready when I have something to show.

Mary C, You mention a thread on connecting the sides. What's it called and who wrote it? I'd love to see.
