So, I'm no longer camper-less. I bought this tonight from a friend. He found it here in Wisconsin at the Symco Shakedown*** and dragged it home with me in mind. The price was right so I snatched it up.The bottom looks brand new, fresh coating of black sealent. New wheels, tires, bearings. Only minimal evidence of water seepage around the bottom of the front window which was promptly sealed by my buddy before I picked it up (thanks Phil). Floor feels solid as a rock and it towed straight as an arrow. The inside looks fairly decent for it's age (pics to follow). The green paint accents are not original though I don't know if the design of them is. And the round window in the door is an obvious add-on by a previous owner. I don't have much info on it, other than it is a Pathfinder built here in WI. In all honesty, I haven't even measured it yet though I estimate it to be in the 10' range. Any info you can give on this would be welcome. My best guess would put it in the 1965 range but I have next to no experience so I defer to forum. (no registration info or history).
***(If you like traditional hot rods do yourself a favor and make a trip to the Symco Shakedown next year. The originator not only collected vintage farm implements, engines, and hot rods, but BUILDINGS as well. He created his own functioning 'town.' It''s like stepping back in time. The vintage camping section grows larger with each year as well. http://www.symcoshakedown.com/HOME.html )
