It's actually Fiber Reinforced Plastic

Crane plastics sales site make multiple references to it's Sequencia panel as "fiberglass reinforced panels"

So I guess to be politically correct we need to refer to them as "fiberglass reinforced plastic panels"

OR "F.R.P.P." for short :shake hands:

All I know for sure is don't get the dust from grinding or cutting the stuff in your eyes. It will give you one hell of an eye infection, so find the safety goggles and use them!

Roy, That's quite some build. I have ben a finish carpenter for 40 yrs.', and that is a labor of love. Not everyone has that much talent or passion to do what you have done. What does the CHP say about your safety chains and hitch ? Hopefully we will get to do your trip and we will give you a ring. :)

Not everything that is called "FRP" is a panel, but the panels are plastic.

Be advice, it does expend a bit in hot weather but will return back to it original shape.

for the first part of the build you need to make sure it is ok with the head officer of the department of finance. Once you get the ok with HODOF you need to pick a style that will meet your needs. After you got your shape picked out look, in the free plane section to see if there is a plan that will work. If there is no plan available see if there are build log in the build area that will show you how other people started there build and there techniques.

If you really need planes there a few sights on the web that sell planes. Sorry I do not have any booked marked.

Hope this helps.
