The original utility trailer registration is fine. The only time you have to get a RV License plate is if you make it into a self contained camper unit. Since it doesn't have a kitchen and bathroom in the main part of the camper, you are good. Outside of the state of MN I would carry the registration paperwork to show to and curious law enforcement officers.

From the looks of your setup Id argue that youve just got a utility trailer that currently just has a big camping storage box sitting in the bed. It is what I do. Sometmes once or so a year I do just that and haul other stuff on the trailer.
