I am still struggling with my thumb after almost 6 months. It is tender way down deep and feels like it has 1/8" thick piece of leather in it. It is very difficult to do mechanical things with it such as working with nuts and bolts. Boy having an issue with an extremity is like not realizing the value of water until it is gone.

That is about 10 days post surgery, stitches removed.

All right, migrating to build journal area. See you there.

Glad to hear you are gaining on the injury and ready to get back to work... With months to think about the build, you probably have gotten all the bugs worked out of your plans...

I hope all goes well and use a pair of side cutters to remove zip-ties... :O

Good luck on the rest of the build... :applause:

Ha! All the bugs worked out, right. I'm kinda stuck right now -- see my build journal. But I am having fun figuring things out. My 'soft' goal is July 4; my firm goal is the opening of football season as the plan is for this to be our hotel for season tickets in Waco this year.

BUT: my docs lifted some restrictions today, and I'm going to start building my HF trailer tomorrow--it arrived the week after surgery. Excited to get this thing off the ground, if only an inch or 2.

Yea!!! Good going Nobes!!! :applause: :applause:

Take it easy, don't get in a rush, follow all the safety rules.... Okay, Okay, I know you know this stuff...

Keep us posted and good luck on the remainder of the build!!!
