Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Hi there. Newbie here. :oops:

So a couple of weeks ago I was on a long drive to a wedding, and I started thinking about building a small trailer. Last winter I built a wood and glass kayak, and thought I could use similar techniques. On my drive I designed in my head what I thought would be a cool looking trailer. I was a happy camper.

Well last weekend I was on my way home from our cabin, and I mentioned my idea to a friend. He said “you mean a teardrop”? I said “huh”?

Got home and did some googling and here I am.

The boat was born in Qualicum Beach...

That's a big yak you got there.. Does the middle hatch have a seat as well?

Its a 22'6" Lightspeed Phantom.
No seat in the center - there isn't enough leg room even if you fab something.
We put the water and dutch ovens and such in there.
