Newbie in Upper Sandusky, OH

Postby plbecker » Mon Jun 11, 2007 7:25 pm

Hello to the board.....I live in Upper Sandusky NOT Sandusky. It is like "Mayberry", but with Buckeyes. (I am an hour away from the roller coaster park.)

I have an old 13' canned ham that I was going to fix up. Well, one patch of rot lead to the mouse nest and more rot. I wanted something smaller and lighter anyway, so I'm down to the trailer. Just got it ground down and treated for rust today. My trailer is 83" x 120" and built like a battleship. Since we need to sleep 4, it will be a little bigger than most tears. I truly have no talent for this , but the topics cover just about everything.

Now if my computer could hold the end of a 2x4 I'd be set.

Hi Pat & welcome!! I am only about an hour away from you in Sylvania , just west of Toledo. My Dew Drop Inn is a long one , the box is 12 ft by 4 ft. I used an old popup trailer. I am in the process of redoing my hatch, it leaked :( Oh well thats the way it goes with TD's! Good luck!

Image to the playground Pat. Hope you enjoy the process. Talent is not required to make a teardrop. A lot of studying will get you there. Talent is for those we know who do really special art type work. ;)

Pat,

Welcome from a fellow builder for 4. Get in there and get started. There is nothing like seeing sawdust you made yourself.
