Hello from East of OZ

Postby Mike C. » Mon Jun 18, 2007 11:01 pm

My name is Mike and I would like to say that I am the better half of Aunti M, but that would be a lie.

I have been watching her view and post on this forum for so long that I decided I would join and see what was going on.

From just the info I have gained by looking over her shoulder, just think how smart I will be if I can look on my own computer.

Since helping her with what I have started calling the " tornado teardrop"
because so much money has been blown away building it, I think we have decided when it is finished we will build a normal size teardrop as step number two.

If you are curious as to what I look like, I am the elderly gentleman, to the right of Aunti M, and yes I admit to being a cradle robber.

Also I would like to tell the people I met at the ITG in Minden, that it was real pleasure, and if I seemed standoffish, it was not you, it is me. I was not feeling 100 % , spent most of the time laying around my room, because of my back. Didn't get to party at all.

Anyhow, thanks again for allowing me to join your elite group, and I will have to admit that I may be hooked, but time will tell.

BTW, if you will note that there are no smilies in my post, it's because Aunti M used them all up.

Mike,
I think it is only fair that you get atleast half of the number of posts that Auntie made since you had to take care of her when she was trying to see if her rotary cutter was sharp

Welcome to the playhouse

Mike, Great to see you assert your independence  No more looking over the shoulder, well done
Yep, I'm the crazy Aussie your wife communicates with at various times.
Have fun and welcome to the addiction.
By the way, Number 2 build will be easier and better than the first one. :o

Cheers
Paul

Uncle M ?????

Well I guess I have been called much worse, usually by Aunti M, but usually they are much shorter; four letters or less, or hyphenated words.

BTW, the comment above is just in joking, my Aunti M is an angel that hasn't yet received her wings. She is also a saint for putting up with me.

So, yes Paul, I suppose I could live with it.

And Boodro, currently the only tools we have are burnt up, wore out and
mostly on their last legs. Need to start a repurchase plan soon. First thing
is a new motor for our table saw or a new table saw.

rbeemer, I will never be able to reach Aunti's post count, I won't live that long.

And to Tear Les and all of you others, thanks for the welcome.

Hey Mike,

As I recall, you had all the details of the Escape Hatch memorized. I thought you were ready to build one of them. Changed your mind?

Mike....

One at a time, one at a time!!!!

I have to help finish the tornado teardrop first.

BTW, are you the person that put the avatar of me up?

If so, you put in the noose, but forgot the knot and the rest of the rope.

Hey Mike, no problem, I thought it was funny and kind of fitting .

Hi Gary & Trudy, we plan on attending more get-togethers, so I am sure we will be seeing more of each other.

And to my dearest Aunti M, thanks for removing the visible noose and fixing my avatar, it will just be understood to be there.
