Hi my name is Josh and this is my wife, Shyla. We live in southern Indiana. After seeing a tear drop at a vw show I thought to myself I have to have one of these. When I found out how much they cost I thought I have to build one of these myself. After telling a few friends and family members that I was going to build a camper they just laughed. After searching the net and getting some Ideas, Home Depot here I come. After 6 weeks of measuring 3 times and cutting 5. We are finally ready to put her to good use. Feel free to view our album for pics...

Josh, I'd just go ahead and make plans to go to Hocking Hills. I've heard nothing but good about the park. We are planning on going in the middle of August for part of our vacation.

Have you been to Clifty Falls SP near Madison? We got "stuck" there last summer when our transmission went out. It's also a beautiful park, lots of hiking to do.

Homeeeeeeee Looks like you put together a fun little trailer. Enjoy all the tours you will be giving, and share some of your experiences with all of us who Haven't gotten our tears done, for what ever the reason.

Tell us how well that light holds up to being on the road, I love it.

Have fun,

John

Welcome Josh and Shyla! Nice teardrop! The "dormer" for the A/C unit is a neat idea. Very creative design and finish work!
