Another newbie from the Chicago area

Hello all seems I put my first post in the wrong place(teardrop const.). I'm Doug a.k.a. Pigcooker, I built my own roaster and started cooking at parties. We had a small 1964 Hi-Lo 7x9 original owners manual said it slept 5. Two double bunks and a hanging cot. First owners had 3 kids, musta worked. Sold the Hi-lo last year,cause all our camping buddies moved away, CO. FL. OK. Thought we were done, came across this site and it renewed my interest. I would like to build a stand up TTT like the Super Size Weekender or Winter Warrior.
DonKro, we are practically neighbors - I'm in Worth, how about exchanging ideas, swapping lies and drinking beer?

Welcome aboard Doug, (great name by the way)...and it appears that you have all the necessary interests, swapping lies, drinking beer, roasting of any kind, and little trailers...Spend lots of time checking out existing builds and what you like, and what you don't need. Have fun with your build, hopefully I'll get a chance to eat some of your pig! Doug
