Hello to all. We are Mike and Brenda from the Texas Panhandle. About a week ago, Mike found a picture of a Teardrop and it has been like an explosion ever since. Our fingers have blisters from all the typing and clicking, our eyes are blurry from all the wonderful pictures you all have provided, and we are already eating, breathing, and NOT sleeping fantasies of "Teardrop Trailers" ... Mike is the planner, thinker, and I am the "lets get this thing started...cause I wanna go camping in it..." As you can tell, we are so excited....so we are indeed NEWBIES..... Thanks for all the advice from several of you so far. We appreciate it so much, especially, halfdome,Danny. We are looking forward to getting started on our teardrop (we are trying to come up with a name for it),,,, again thanks.. mike and Brenda

Keep reading, planning, posting, and most important--provide us with pictures. If you get a chance, try to meet some of us at a gathering, or if someone is in your neck of the woods, try to arrange a meet to see one in person. You'll get lots of pointers and ideas.

My wife and I are graduates of West Texas State University in Canyon (as you know now called West Texas A&M.) We still have family in Amarillo and visit there often. One of the reasons we are getting our Teardrop is to make that trip and others a little easier and more fun.
