Ok I am brand new . I am starting to look into building a tear drop. I am an avid woodworker and have built most of the furniture in my house. Looking for a new project :D

Hi Danny my name is Steve I live in Hayward Ca. ( just south of Oakland). I am an avid woodworker, camper ,Clamper , and Dutch Oven cook. I just finished a Shaker Chest of Drawers and looking for a new project. I have thought about building a teardrop for along time. Last night I tossed and turned thinking about it . That is the first step of a new project for me.

Hi Steve, wow are you in great company, there are some avid Dutch Oven cooks here and a new section dedicated just for D.O.'s. Sounds like your hooked like a lot of us on the idea of building your teardrop, you've come to the best place to do just such as you dreamt. Got any pictures of your woodworking projects? :D Danny

Hi Steve,

Welcome to our playground and the addiction of these trailers. If you get a chance to look at other teardrops in person, I highly recommend it. Go through the Hall of Fame for some ideas also.

As far as that other "evil" addiction(Dutch Oven cooking) look in the recipe section for ideas and also please add your recipes to the collection. If ya wanta

to the playground RedDiver.

Pictures from photo bucket are easy. First you need to tell Photo bucket to size them for posting (forums and blogs) whatever will get you close to 540-500 wide..

Then click on the IMG code under the picture and paste here. No need to click on the img again..

Enjoy and your furniture is beautiful  so I expect your TD to be as well.

Enjoy

Hi Steve, it won't be long before you are one of us. Most of us had plans to build one, and low and behold before long, it was done and our adventure into teardrop camping began. These folks are the friendliest bunch you will ever find. I suggest you try to make it to one of the local teardrop gatherings around your area, or at least get in contact with some other California builders and/or users. Check out our builder pics, take pics as you proceed and share them on the board. Welcome and enjoy.

Roly, the So Calif woody guy ;) :hammer:
