Welcome aboard Marvin....it really is a fun rewarding project to build...it appears that you know what you don't want...so do some planning and build it to suit your camping needs...It's kinda like a tent in that you're cooking outdoors, but can sleep without a rock digging in your backside. Most importantly have fun with your build, and if you get a chance, attend a gathering...lots of good ideas, sizes, profiles to be seen first hand... :) Doug

Welcome Marvin,

Hope you enjoy the forum. You can probably find anything about teardrops that has ever been written here, from their construction to their uses.

A good place to start if you want to build one is sdtripper2's index at the top of each page, because if you can't find it there, it's probably not findable. :)

to the playground Marvin. Guess we got the basics covered. Advice here is cheap, just dig out the :pictures: and post away.

Building is definitely more rewarding but also time consuming. Take your time and plan it to suit yourself.

Hey Marvin,

Welcome to the forum. Questions? Ask away!

Mike...

p.S. could you type in lower case next time? It's easier to read, and it doesn't look like you're shouting.
