Hello from NE PA - Anyone ever heard of a "Little Champ

Postby r77pacer » Thu Aug 30, 2007 5:45 pm

Hi All,
I just found this site today and glad I did, what a great site. Last year I aquired a 1970 Little Champ mini trailer. I do not believe it is home made, it appears to be factory made. I cannot find any information on it anywhere, I've searched all over the internet. I'd like to hear from anyone who either has one or has heard of one or knows someone else who has one. Even if you haven' seen one before I'd like to hear from you and any comments you may have on it. I've posted some pictures of it in my album. I'm in the process of freshening it up with some new paint and will post new pics when I'm done. My plan is to make a duplicate of it from scratch. What do you think? Kevin

Wow, fast response! At least now I know who manufactured my trailer. I've already gone to the website and registered. Many, many thanks. Kevin

Hi Kevin, welcome to the board, and it looks like you are already getting some information from helpful members. You sure have an interesting rig, round roof corners on the sides and straight up in the front and back. How about a look inside, and is there any kind of galley involved? How about some dimensions, that would be helpful. Enjoy your prize, and come join some of the gatherings.

Kevin, I remember when you bought that rig on eBay last year. I was watching it too and was fascinated by it. I've tried to find other "little champs" since then but have been unsuccessful. I'm glad you finally surfaced. What a neat little trailer. I'll be very interested in your duplicate build. Please keep us up to date on your progress!
