Just thought I'd say hi and that I look forward to participating on this site. I'm looking at getting a teardrop trailer (older looking the better). I'd build one but I'm recently divorced and no longer have a shop to work in. I'm buying an old Hot Rod soon which I plan on taking around the country to car eventsand this type of camper would be perfect. Can't wait!! :)
I can't believe how much info and experience is here on this site. Thanks and talk to you soon.

sdtripper, welcome to the forum. As you know, there is lots of info available here, couldn't have built my tear without builder's input. Check out some of the gathering pics showing hot custom cars with matching teardrop trailers. Old is good, but having a matching hauler sure looks good. Good luck on your plans to obtain the perfect teardrop trailer.

Roly ;)

Thanks soo much for the warm welcome everyone. Even the guy having the senior moment! LOL!

Yes, the car is kinda like a rat rod but really isn't classified that way by the purist hot rodders. I'll try and upload a couple pics of the coupe. It's a 31 five window that's been chopped, channeled, Z'd etc...
So I'd like to find something that would match it. Gotta be old and not too heavy. 1000 lbs max.

Phil

Phil, sdtripper.......so they look and sound alike. I start typing in this square, then scroll down to get names and stop on the wrong post. Senior Moments........just keep on coming, it's better than the alternative, pushing up flowers. (excuse me Phil, we rattle on like this sometimes)

Roly.......... I'm lucky I still know how to type. Took typing in school because there was where all of the pretty girls were. Latched onto one and married her, 55 years ago, and counting.
