Bevis, you have come to the right place. Welcome to the board, and remember, ask any questions you want. I assume you are planning to build a teardrop, and not buy one. So, check out the many construction pics and the completed trailers in the Hall of Fame. Things to consider are:
How long, how wide, covered with what, or maybe a woody, things needed in the galley, need for a tongue box, possible AC unit, fender design, insulate or no insulation, just to name a few.
Everyone's teardrop is individually different. Try to visit a Floridian tear owner or check out a nearby gathering and see what a real teardrop looks like. These folks are the friendliest group of campers and builders that you will ever meet. Remember, take pics of your build and post them. We are looking forward to hearing that you are starting your teardrop project as soon as you decide on what your first one will look like. Yes, first one, because you see, you can't build just one...........so I'm told.
Roly, one done, one in progress and more on the plan bench.
