Greetings from yet another Kansas Teardrop dreamer! I am in the early design process and plan to start building when the weather starts warming up!! The plan for now is a modernistic with an aviation flare,,,I think. The wife and I plan to use the tear for some mission trips around the country and of course for our own relaxation. This site is awesome for research!! Thank you to all that contribute!!

 We dont care if you have Big Feet.  Just teasing :R

Welcome to the Forum. You have "touched down" in a great place here when it comes to TD's. Don't forget to "fly" up to the top menu and check out sdtripper2's Index. Lots of great info and easy to "navigate" Haha!!

When you do start building, make sure to take lot of pictures and keep us posted on your progress.

Ah ha, looks like another pilot is joining the fun. Welcome to the board. Remember, teardroppers always have their gear down, don't have to worry about IFR conditions and never need a 2000 ft runway to slow down enough to go camping. Enjoy..............

Thanks for the nice welcome! I am looking forward to joining the TD family. I will indeed post pics when the building process starts.

As for Pilots, I prefer "Low and Slow", thats where the real fun is!! The Tear should fit right in with that.

As for big feet, well you know what they say..........
.....The bigger the feet, the more your shoes cost.

Image to the playground. No flying high jokes here. Just looking forward to watching the sawdust fly.

What part of Kansas are you from? And is the fishing good? 8)

We like to nag about pictures and the bubble oil stuff so dig out the camera while your at it. ;) You should have a couple of weeks before real Spring sets in.

Thanks for your welcome. No worries, the jokes will always be "clean" here. :R

My family and I live in McPherson, Kansas, about an hour North of Wichita. Winter is still firmly ensconched here and the snow has been ever present this year.

Bass, Walleye, Catfish and Crappie are the mainstays around here. I prefer Salmon or trout but that just aint going to happen in Kansas outside of the grocery store.

Thanks again all.

There's: a Gaggle of Geese, A Murder of Crows, a Covey of Quail. Whats are a larger group of Jay Hawks called? Number 8 in the BCS perhaps?

 Guess that means you aren't aware of the trout lakes huh. They don't bite for me. They are smart and know I am gonna have them for supper. ;) www.kdsp.state.ks.us
